There are several types of production based on the processing of sawmill waste. It allows the enterprise to occupy an increasingly stable position in the economic system of the Arkhangelsk region.
The main strategic objectives are:
• modernizing all production processes and creating a modern timber processing complex with a full cycle of waste-free wood processing;
• increased production;
• establishment of a stable supply of the enterprise with raw materials, increasing the volume of certified and controlled raw materials in the total supply volume;
• improving the management system, creating a highly qualified, cohesive work collective at the enterprise.
In 2007 Sawmill 25 completed the modernization of production at the Maimaksa site – 1: a new sawmill, a drying complex, a dry sorting and packaging line, a CHP operating on sawmill waste were commissioned.
In 2009 a pellet production was launched at the site – 1.
In 2013 a new sawmill, a drying complex, a dry sorting and packaging line, and a CHP plant operating on sawmill waste were commissioned as part of the project “Development of sawmill production at the Tsiglomen site – 2”.
In 2014 the construction of the pellet production was completed. The capacity of the production is up to 70 thousand tons of wood pellets per year.
In 2018 the modernization of equipment at the production site – 3 was completed: a new sawmill complex, a drying complex, a dry sorting and packaging line, a boiler house operating on sawmill waste were commissioned.
In 2019-2020 “Lesozavod 25” has launched 3 new drying chambers: on the Site – 2-2 pieces, on the Site-3-1 piece.
Having a certificate of FSC supply chain of raw materials for the enterprise (certificate of “Сhain of Сustody”), Sawmill 25 continues to improve the system of accounting of incoming raw materials (FSC License Code: FSC-C014051)
The enterprise considers the selection of personnel, the creation of a training system for the company’s specialists on the basis of its own production, the creation of a cohesive, highly qualified workforce capable of quickly solving any problems dictated by changing market conditions as important components of a successful development strategy.
